The oldest song in Korean
Journey begins at Jeongeupsa Park, the theme of Jeongeupsa, the oldest song written in Korean.

If you walk up a little uphill and cross the Chonbuk National University of Science, you will see the entrance of the forest path of Jeongeupsaosol-gil 1 course. You can also take a moment to breathe in the observance of the Naejang Mountain, which is famous for its wide plains and autumn leaves.

Toad rock, a shelter for mountain seekers
The path of the covenant which is continued is guarded by toad rock.
It's a very big rock, so woodcutters often rest, and they've been steadily serving as shelter for those looking for mountains.
Hanging locks are eye-catching as a token of love and friendship.
Walking uphill, flat and downhill, you can feel the happy but painful process of love with your whole body.

Wetlands that changed naturally after many years
Pass the path of practice and meet Wolyeong Wetland near the summit. It is a place where paddy fields that were farmed with groundwater naturally turned into wetlands after many years. Small water flows along the side of the road, and the primeval forest of the mountain slope is admirable.
If you're curious about Wolyoung Wetland, the commentator can explain the value and restoration of wetlands at the Wolyoung Wetland Information Center. Continue to Wolyeong Village at Wolyeong Crossroads in front of the Visitor Information Center.

Abundance and Colorful Village, Wolyoung Village

Beautiful way around
the lake and mountains
Most of them are flat, so anyone can easily walk on the Daejanggeum Masil-Gil, which is a great way to enjoy the lake and the mountains.
The journey begins in Nankukjeong, which has a rich name, and the people around it are beautiful, and people who were moved by it raised their money in 1928.
The Hwangto Village was called Hwanghak Village until it was submerged, and recently redesigned Daejanggum Masil-Gil. If you come to town when Siberian chrysanthemumis in full bloom, you can face fantastic scenery.

Panoramic view from the pine forest road.
Pass the stoney mountain trail and walk the path to Janggeum Tunnel
The tunnel leads to a pine forest path and faces Junggok.
The view of Okjeongho and Imsil-gun from the ridge is remarkably gentle.
Pass the wind valley visible to the front and head for Janggeumsan.
Follow the northern route to Nangujeong-jeong, the end, to complete the journey. The Seonghwangdang, which can be crossed by bridge, is the largest land island in Honam, so why don't you try it?
