Start of the Janggunmok-gil sound

We start at 'Gumikyo', the point in time. Janggunmok-gil is a mountain that surrounds Seomjin River, such as Yongkweol Mountain to the north and Bulgdongsan to the south, and strange rock formations that can be found all over the river.

Along the riverside where the water is shining brightly, we head toward the Masil Lodging Complex. If you enjoy camping, you can enjoy trekking along the upper part of Seomjin River and staying overnight at the Masil Lodging Complex.

The Guardian Deity of Yogang Rock

There is a sign saying that the path that leads to the walk is for pregnant women to walk. The well-paved roads for bicycles are easy to walk. In addition, the natural scenery of water and mountains from nature's nature will give a better preaching.

When the road passes through the stone gate and crosses the rocky bridge, 'Yogang Rock' unfolds before your eyes. The story is told that working in Yogang Rock can give birth to a son. He is also a guardian deity in a nearby village. Subsequently, the large rocks boasting the stomach are washed and watered for a long time, and are cut out in various shapes.

A rock that has long worn signs

The strange rock formations around them are immersed in water for almost an eternity, making them hard to see anywhere. The rock at the bottom causes the Seomjin River water to flow as if it were twisted as if it were a waist.

The water flowing around the rock that has been exposed to the surface is spectacular. In summer, it's good to sit on the rocks and soak your feet in the water, and in winter you can see the clear glass of water between the snowfalls.

View from the Yongkweol Mountain Healing Forest

The paths so far now go downstream along the opposite bank. The Yongkweol Mountain Healing Forest, which you can see while walking, is planted with various trees and flowers, and snow is good for walking.

At the end of the parking lot of the Yongkweol Mountain Healing Forest, you can descend to the surface of Seomjin River, cross the sturdy jingum bridge, and climb up to the bank of the Masil Lodging Complex. The way back is always a pity. However, since the scenery of the road has been filled with eyes and mind, I feel that my body and mind have become more relaxed as I return to the point of view and the end of Gumi Bridge

Gangcheon Mountain County Park is a proud resource of Sunchang County.

'Gangcheon Mountain County Park' is the nation's first military park.
The journey of 'Gangcheon Mountain Road' begins at 'Gangcheon Mountain County Park Ticket Office'. As soon as it comes in, the flowing valley is a mountain-indented area, where the scenery enters the entrance.

From the 'Byeongpung Falls' that you encounter shortly to the last 'Gukjang-gun Falls', you will forget your thoughts and words before nature. In particular, 'Byeongpung Falls' makes us realize the story that Byeongpung Rock flows like silk.

Forget the words before the overwhelming appearance of nature.

The road to Gangcheonsa is made up of soft dirt roads. Next to the stable path, various valleys greet me, calming me down to the water, and soothing in the well-managed tribal chiefs. After that, you can see the graceful 'Gangcheonsa', which seems to be one body with the forest. Gangcheonsa is a temple built by Dosun Guksa in 887 and surpasses millennia.

After passing through the Hyunsu bridge of 'Suspension Bridge', which boasts dazzling heights and the best views, it finally meets the Gujang-gun Falls. The view of three streams of water flowing over a large rock is very spectacular. The journey will return to the Gangcheon Mountain County Ticket Office. The indescribable afterimage of nature makes me forget all my anguish.

The time of scholarship to follow in the present

Concept Forest and Hill road
Legnth 6km
Time 2 hrs 30 mins
Difficulty Easy
Main Course Hun Mong Jae – Nongno Crossroads-Seokbo Bridge-Sachang Village-Birthplace of Kim Byeongro-Nakdeokjeong

Let's walk along Seonjin River at leisurely pace.

The road of Seonbi is a way to walk along the Seomjin River with the spirit and step of the seonbi of Seonjin. In early summer, there is a colony of pop trees and you can feel as if you are in the sea of white flowers.

Hun Mong Jae, who meets at the beginning of the journey, is a Kang Hak-dang built by Kim In-hu, a teacher of the Joseon Dynasty. Recently burned during the war, they have been restored. 'Hun Mong-jae' was the birthplace of Haedong Confucianism, which produced scholars of the time, including Jung Cheol, Cho Hee Moon, Yang Qing Jing, and Byun sungon. In addition, Daehak Rock, a rock for 30 people, is engraved with Song Kang Jeong-chul's handwriting.

Let's walk past the present time

Follows the road leading to 'Sachang Village' from the intersection.
It is assumed that the village used to manage the old gorge. Soon, Kim meets his birthplace. Kim Byung-ro, Kim's 15th grandson, was the first Supreme Court chief of the Republic of Korea. The mural on the wall contains Kim Byung-ro's words,
"You must know it in honor of starving the judges."

Then he climbs the hill to reach Nakdeokjeong.
The descendants are the sperm made by Kim In-hoo to celebrate him here.
At the end of this journey, we have literally walked the perfect “road of seonbi” beyond the present time.
